Re: Thinking of a new tow vehicle.
I noticed when I test drove them that the ones without the tow package (3.08 axle ratio) were sleepy versus the Heavy Duty trailering option which bumped the ratio to 3.42. It's no rocket ship but it hauls the kids with room to spare. I did see a Hennessey upgrade for both the 5.3L and 6.2L.

Re: Bad first trip...blew off the rubber riser boot.
Thanks for the feed back and it was like a potato in the exhaust! I believe it was a flapper as well. The metal piece the flapper rotates on is still in and is all that remains. In hind sight I probably shouldn't have drove it around once I put it back together. If I get all of the pieces out(if ...

Re: New Member from 1000 Islands/Lake Ontario
Thanks for the comments! The boat house isn't mine ( I just have a lowly dock up in Cape Vincent but I have a goal now to build one of those), I just asked the old owner to raise it up for inspection. Bfun, you are correct though....he does create a wet slip for visitors. The guy I bought it from ...

Good morning,
I joined last week in the anticipation of buying a Cobalt and I made it official Saturday after the sea trial. The wife wanted a to get back into boating after our kids grew up a little (I have a 5,3, and 15 month old). I made it clear that I was only interested in a Cobalt and she ...
