Re: Drain Plug LED Wiring
Hey guys just installed one of these a couple days ago and went fairly smooth.
It didn't light up the wake as much as I hopped while underway but not bad.
See if this video link works.

Re: Hello from Alabama
Sorry for the very late reply on this. Ceramic coating (usually a Silica Dioxide base) is a coating that is applied to the surface of the paint or gelcoat with boats that binds with the surface creating a glass like finish. The process is fairly labor intensive (which is what drives the cost) as the ...

Re: Hello from Alabama
Ride was great! We did have a stereo issue. Apparently Cobalt wired the head unit to a “always on” part of the black box panel. It froze up and there was literally no way to get it to shut down. Even the master battery switch wouldn’t turn it off. Rambo Marine was great and sent a technician to us ...

Re: Window Tint..on the windshield?
I’ve done it to one of my cars in the past and just did 35% to my R5. I loved it on the car, will let you know on the boat after this weekend.

Re: Tried out our new umbrella holder.
Looks great! I also bought one for the R5 from Slide. It’s the same mount as yours. I found a 10’ umbrella from Costco with the correct diameter and Sunbrella fabric at a great price. It’s a two piece model and Slide’s mount replaces the bottom piece. Will take some pics this weekend.

Re: Hello from Alabama
Just thought I’d send some picture updates. On delivery we had several scratches and some dimples in the Gelcoat. My dealership went to bat and Cobalt stepped up. They covered the gelcoat being resprayed on the starboard side and some repairs in other areas. This has delayed delivery quite a bit ...

Re: Tower Speakers on ‘19 R5...8” or 10”
So I sent back one pair of Rev10s and used the SDX4 to power the remaining 2 (370w each). My dealership sent me a little teaser video. This is not even at 25% volume! Glad I went with one pair.

Re: Is something stirring at Cobalt?
I love the design and layout of my new R5, and plan to enjoy it for years to come. However, my plan is the same as with anything else, to always have equity in anything we “own.” If the want or need arises, I’ll always be in a position to walk away with money in my pocket, not paying more just to ...
