How long are you going to be in Havasu?
We got here in early December and will be departing the 1st of March. Hopefully things will warm up a bit by then. :D

Re: Trim Tabs on a 2012 262

Bumping this up with the hope of getting some feedback. If anyone has a 262 with OEM trim tabs, I would like to know how effective they are being that they are only 6x12. Bennett marine provided me with the part numbers to put together the no longer available kit that was provided to Cobalt. They ...

Re: 2000 262 with Radar Arch -- Slip Question....

We have a 2012 262 with the wakeboard tower and have no issues with it on our front mount Drew Lift. However our dock roof is 12ft high at the peak.

Re: Trim Tabs on a 2012 262

So I have been communicating with Bennett Marine and they were able to cross reference the part number I got from Cobalt. Bennett confirmed they were special configuration trim tabs and were 6x12, however they were no longer available as a kit, but they could piece one together. They just wanted to ...

Re: Trim Tabs on a 2012 262

I contacted Cobalt today and they were quick to answer. They did say that the tab option for my make and year were the Bennet 6x12. They didn't specify hydraulic or electric. That seems a bit small from what I have been reading on the Bennet website.

Trim Tabs on a 2012 262

Hi Folks,

I would like to add trim tabs to my 2012 262 before spring. Hoping for any feedback on brand, tab/switch location or tech recommendations. I'm planning to do it myself. We live on Lake of the Ozarks and are hoping the tabs will help smooth out the ride there.

Thanks,
Ross

Stereo Upgrade?

Hoping to get some feedback/suggestions on upgrading my stock system. It has the Sony head in the glove box and wired remote on the helm, 2 Kicker speakers in the bow, 4 in the cockpit and 2 that were added by the previous owner on the transom, that I think are Kickers also but not sure. I'm no ...

Re: Alarm Volume

Ear plugs? Pass them out.

Seriously though, just look under the dash and find the mini plastic speaker. Usually it’s small, round , and black. A small piece of electrical tape over it will help lessen the harshness yet still provide a quality warning sound in the event of a malfunction ...

Alarm Volume

We finally got our new to us 2012 262 launched yesterday and she performed amazingly! I did notice when you turn the key from off to the run position the gauges go through their self check dance and the alarm sounds I think 3 times, problem is it's ear piercingly loud. Anyone else feel this way, or ...

Yeah, pretty fun there.

Good food at Topock and Pirates too.

We will be wintering there, unfortunately our Cobalt wont be, but if you see a Fours Winns named Barefoot Children that's us!! :D

OK, will be on the lookout.

Off topic question - Do you rent a house during the winter there ...
